*The "Goesting" cart was
named after one of the most beautiful words in the Flemish language. "Goesting" means "longing for", and
can be use for food, for things you like to do etc. E.g. "I have goesting for a nice cold raspberry ice cream with one
of those awesome Double Dulce Dinges cones~". Or...I have goesting to take a nice long walk...
MINI-WAFEL-TRUCK
- SCHEDULE for the "Bierbeek" cart*
Permanent location at Columbus Circle

CENTRAL PARK ZOO - weekly SCHEDULE for the "Vedette" cart*
Permanent location at
the North-West corner of 5th Ave & 60th Street, right at the gate leading to the Zoo
- Every
day: from 10am till sundown
*"Vedette" is actually a French word,
which is often used in Flemish slang when you talk about a person who's a "character"". "He's a real vedette"
could mean that you're talking about someone who's a star, or just a remarkable and colorful character.
GREAT LAWN at Central Park - weekly SCHEDULE
for the "Kotmadam" cart*
Permanent location at the Great Lawn, near Turtle Pond and the Delacorte Theatre. Follow your nose or use
the 85th street entrance. Whatever's easiest.
- The leaves in Central Park have all but fallen. Kotmadam often
finds herself all alone with the trees. She decided she'll only go out on Saturday & Sunday (11am till sundown) this week.
In case she changes her mind, check Facebook & Twitter. You never know...she may venture out to sell some wafels in the park on a sunny day!
* The "Kotmadam" name comes from the town Leuven, where the
waffle-guy grew up. Leuven is packed with tens of thousands of bike riding college-students from September until June.
They all live in brick houses of the town's narrow streets, which have been converted to dorm rooms, which they call
their "kot." A "kot" is a slang term for your dorm roo, but also means "shack, "hole,"
etc. A "kot" is usually managed by a rather colorful lady called the "kotmadam." The town
of Leuven recognized the importance the "kotmadams" play in the social fabric of the town, and we're very pleased
to bring her to YOU!
